Getting Getting Close to the Stars – with the world’s first fully automated telescope control.
The only web platform for fully automatic telescope control
The foundation of the Webservatory is our Astro Bric Stack Astro-Toolkit ((Link)). The components of this dynamic platform support the control of telescopes provided specifically for this purpose by our subsidiary spacecrumb® ((Link)) – a 16″ RC in Namibia and three 24″ RC systems in Chile.
Your telescope on the web
With the Webservatory, both professional and amateur astronomers can do everything over the web that they previously had to do in person at the telescope: from simple observation to capturing images of various celestial objects, executing automated scenarios, and even tracking satellites.
An open system with extension potential
Interested in integrating your own systems into the Astro Bric Stack network and making them available to others?
How Webservatory works?
With Webservatory, you’ll truly feel like an astronomer – as if you were conducting your observations at a telescope on-site. Control, monitoring, and tactile sensations are replicated one-to-one. Webservatory seamlessly integrates observation, computing, and education.
Successful deployment in planetariums
Our innovative web platform is often utilized as a white-label product. Planetariums, for example, use it as a captivating addition to their offerings. This platform not only enables the control of a telescope system but also supports the streaming of image data. For planetarium visitors, this offers an impressive live view – a truly unique experience.
