Our Mission

Architecture and Development of a TIBCO Software Solution

Our goal is to replace and upgrade an existing Roaming Price Info platform. This platform ensures that customers are informed about international tariffs in compliance with regulations when they enter a country.

Special Requirements

  • Large memory capacity for storing and fast retrieval of 40 million customer records 
  • Analysis of hundreds of movement data per second using a Complex Event Processing (CEP) Engine 
  • Sending hundreds of messages per minute via SMS, email, and files
  • Complex tracking of delivery confirmations PLUS: High importance to the customer – as contractual penalties are at stake in case of failure. The transition must, therefore, take place during ongoing operations and without any technical issues.

Our solution

A multi-level integration based on TIBCO

We developed a software solution for this, which processes movement data using Golang. These data are then enriched and processed by various TIBCO BusinessWorks 6 adapters. The data is subsequently analyzed by TIBCO BusinessEvents 5. Customers are informed through various outbound channels using additional TIBCO BusinessWorks 6 adapters. Data required by TIBCO BusinessEvents for fast processing is stored in REDIS, filled by TIBCO BusinessWorks.

Technical Details

  • REDIS as in-memory database in cluster operation over 3 machines
  • REDIS on machines with 256GB each
