When the Planetarium Bochum organized its first immersive hackathon in October 2021, we were there - not as participants, but as jurors in the expert jury. Developers, creative people and tech visionaries had exactly 24 hours to bring together the technologies of virtual reality and the planetarium under the motto “Virtual Reality @ Planetarium”. The best results were then demonstrated on the dome and the winners were awarded.
The next event was a little smaller, but at least as exciting for our team: After a long Corona break, we finally got together again in person with our business partners, colleagues and their families to be greeted by Susanne Hüttemeister, professor and director of the Bochum Planetarium to be taken away by the fascinating world of the stars. A morning full of inspiration, exchange and lots of good conversations.
Our collaboration with the Planetarium Bochum is definitely going into the next round: joint software projects are being planned for the future - we will keep you updated!
