A portal solution for suppliers, suitable for worldwide use.
The Swiss-based fashion company “Charles Vogele” recently commissioned the new online supplier platform for the Southeast Asian region, which was commissioned by Heuser Software AG.
The aim of the development was to create a platform that enables Charles Voegele to provide the suppliers based in Southeast Asia and working for the company with timely information from the parent company and also to ensure more optimized order placement, not least because of the large time difference between them locations. With the help of this new development, orders can be assigned to Charles Voegele suppliers all over the world, processed by them and ultimately billed promptly.
The platform was developed based on the latest findings in the use of various portal technologies and optimized for all browsers available today. A large part of the user interface is developed with a mix of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript and REST services, with the well-known web framework Angular JS being used to a special extent. The components are operated on the company's own servers in Switzerland, can be adapted to requirements and can be scaled as required, so that future growth potential can be relaxed.
